Happy New Year everyone!!
I hope you all celebrated into 2011 in style! My night was very good - I went up to the Red Lion pub in Penn, Bucks. Nothing too flashy but all the same, I saw in the new year with great friends!
M outfit consisted of: Black lace top, with bold black shoulder pads showing through, teamed with a lovely new black lace bra i purchased from Bravisimo, Dark blue high-waisted Topshop jeans, Coral bow Kurt Geiger heels (a gorgeous xmas present from the bf), finished off with a Zara leather jacket and Black pleated bag from Aldo. A casual but classy outfit!
Now into 2011 I have a lot of ambitions that I would love to achieve this year - 2011 is a very important year for me, with graduating from Solent, finding my first full time job in the fashion industry and creating the start of the rest of my life!
And of course I have made some NEW YEAR ambitions I would love to reach for myself in 2011:
* Competing uni is my priority until May - I am hoping to graduate with at least a 2-1 for my degree, anything higher would be the icing on the cake - a bonus! I start my final major project on the 10th January and I want to achieve my absolute best for this, I want to bring my work to an interview and be proud to say I have achieved the best quality of work in 13 weeks.
* My 21st (Jan 14th) - Have the most amazing time with the best family and friends i could ask for - party like I have never done before - I want it to be something I talk about for years to come :)
* Bag myself the perfect job for my chosen career pathway - Work tremendously hard to achieve this to make myself stand out from the hundreds of other students that will be graduating this year!
* Prioritise my time - I need to do things for me sometimes and not to do things always for others. I want to spend the best time with my friends, bf and family - Work hard and play hard!
* Not to let anyone get me down - Its a tough world out there and believe me I have been through some awful things, however, I have got through them and these things have made me who I am today - I am who i am and nobody is going to walk over me.
* In the industry I have chosen for my career, there are always going to be people who are jealous or who will do anything to get above you, fashion is a competitive industry - Let them, at the end of the day only I know what I want - I want to be someone who will make an impact within the industry, but for good reasons by working hard - not being a bitch.
* Make my mum and dad proud of all i have achieved <3
* To try and save as much money as i possibly can - being a student is tough, however i do spend a lot of money without even realising - I now want to save!
* To juggle my time between my uni work, my job, my blog, my twitter better and continue completing work experience until the end of my degree.
* To join the gym - I can not afford it yet, but when I am successful in getting a job this is the first thing I am going to pursue - I want to feel good about myself, wear what I want and look good and to be healthy :)
* Be more aware of what is currently happening all over the world, not only what is displayed over on front cover news.
* To make the time create the best memories with my friends - after all friends are always going to be there <3
* Travel - wherever it may be - Amsterdam is already on the cards in April
