Bora Aksu:
Second show of the day was Bora Aksu. There was such a big crowd that turned up to watch Aksu's Spring/Summer collection at On|Offs Victoria House.

The collection was called 'Ants and Corsets' and was inspired by the movement of a colony of ants. Bora told the team at On|Off in a press lounge interview that 'he studied ants closer and came to realise the creatures shapes were like those from the silhouette of the 1950s', this is reflected in the collections pieces with cinched waists and padded undergarments to exaggerate the silhouette. The ants were featured in the models hair for the show in shades of whites, greys and blacks. I loved the metallic colour palette for the collection.

Ashley Isham's Spring/Summer collection for 2011 was beautiful, bright colours were used for the colour palettes and head pieces wow'd On|Offs crowds.

Isham didn't fail to offer us his beautifully designed red-carpet gowns. I personally loved the collection. The head pieces had ostrich-feathered embellishments and floral crystal pieces embedded in the structure; they really took the collection to the next level. Guests to Ashley Isham's catwalk show included Pamola Faith, Alexis Houston and Noisettes star Shingai Shoniwa.
Truly beautiful!
