One of my favourite trends for this Autumn/Winter is the ankle-grazed look. Following on from a very popular trend throughout Spring/Summer 2010 the stylishly 'long' trend is going to explode into everyones wardrobe this winter, night and day this trend looks hot! The silhouette has changed and the Ankle-grazed to upper shin lengths are here to stay, however how minimal or drastic the garment appears it will have you and looking incredibly powerful, tall and sophisticated this season.
Here's a few examples of my favourite catwalk pieces for the trend:

Dries Van Noten - A/W 2010/11 www.style.com |
Kimberly Ovitz - A/W 2010/11 www.style.com |
Richard Chai Love - A/W 2010/11 www.style.com |
I love the two-piece style for the trend, which both Dries Van Noten and Kimberly Ovitz have featured in their collections. Kimberly Ovitz has got it spot on, (with her whole career so far it seems! Ovitz has been one of the few successful designers to make it so big in her second year of business; already being featured on Net-A-Porter; the worlds premier online luxury fashion destination) in this case the simplicity of the garment is really beautiful, the model looks so overwhelmingly tall. This co-ordinating two piece is defiantly something I want to have in my wardrobe this winter.
