My trip to Copenhagen

I loved Copenhagen!

The architecture was beautiful, the Danes were lovely and the streets were full of cute bicycles! It is such a great city and is home to some of the most beautiful architecture.

Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen
My favourite place during my visit had to be Tivoli; the most beautiful amusement park I have ever seen. The park had a fairy tale essence about it and was surrounded by the most beautiful flower gardens. It is also now home to one of Copenhagen's most famous landmarks, 'The little mermaid'. The park is a blend between past and present inspirations and is home to the first ever wooden roller coaster.

To take a ride on one of the 25 rides that Tivoli had to offer you had to purchase tokens. The park has been produced with such great detail, even the tokens for the rides were old fashioned ticket strips. To look over the top of Tivoli we took a ride on the vintage ferris wheel.

Day and night the park is home to a theatre stage, where ballet and dance performances take place where you can sit and watch the spectacular shows that Tivoli has to offer.

At night, Tivoli is covered head to toe in lights, it looked like a fairytale wonderland. Every building, ride, market stall and boutiques were sparkling with different colour lights.

Tivoli is defiantly somewhere you need to experience if you were to take a trip to Copenhagen!
